Learn how to add your own content to your Ordos, identify supported content types, and access your uploads in the Source & Summit Digital Platform.

The information in this article applies to all Source & Summit customers.

What can you upload?

You can upload the following types of content to your Source & Summit account to help you manage all parts of your music and liturgy preparation in one place:

  • Hymns

  • Antiphons

  • Mass parts

  • Choral music

  • Instrumental music

  • Custom text

  • Prayers

How to upload to Source & Summit

  1. Create or open an Ordo.

  2. In your Outline (left panel), select the section where you’d like to add content.

    The right panel will open.

  3. Click + Upload [Instrumental Music, a Hymn, an Antiphon, a Mass Part, etc.] in the right panel.

    The Upload modal will open.

  4. Enter the title, composer, and any reference information about your file.

  5. Drag and drop your file onto the upload page. To add multiple files under the same title, click + Add.

  6. Select the Resource type for each file: Accompaniment, Full Score, Lead Sheet, Melody, etc.

  7. Click Done.

Note

You can upload one file per resource type.

Upload guidelines

File types:

  • PNG

  • GIF

  • JPEG

  • TIFF

  • PDF

  • GABC (Alpha state)

Upload limit: 5MB

Pagination: Upload single-page files to access customization tools like cropping and page breaks.

Accessing your uploads

  1. Select the section where you have uploaded content.

    The right panel will open with available music collections.

  2. Scroll to Resources and click My [Hymns, Antiphons, Mass Settings, etc.]

    Your uploaded content will appear in the right panel.

  3. Select the Component you want to display.

    If you’ve uploaded Resource types, select your preferred view: Accompaniment, Melody, Lead Sheet, or Text-Only.

Pro Tip

Upload multiple files to access different resource types during your liturgy preparation process.

Customization Settings

Even though uploads are static image files, you can apply layout settings to align with native Source & Summit content when creating printable resources:

Crop - Remove white space, page numbers, or extra titles.

Add Breaks - Mark suitable places for page turns.

Display Title - Edit the displayed title to match native content formatting.

Add Attribution - Edit the copyright line to match native content formatting. This is visible only in the Resource Editor.

Not seeing these settings?

Check the number of pages in your file. Currently, upload customizations are limited to files that are one page in length.

FAQ

Do I have to upload my content every time I create an Ordo?

No. Uploads are saved in your personal collections and can be reused across Ordos. These include: My Choral Music, My Instrumental Music, My Antiphons, My Mass Settings, and My Prayers.

Can I edit choral and instrumental music in my Ordo?

Yes, but only essential layout options are available since uploaded files are static images. You can:

Crop - Remove white space, page numbers, or extra titles.
Add Breaks - Mark suitable places for page turns.
Display Title - Edit the displayed title to match the formatting of native content.
Add Attribution - Edit the copyright line to match the formatting of native content.

Advanced features such as key changes, verse configuration, or audio playback are not supported for uploaded files.
