→ The Ordo Editor will open automatically.
Add a hymn section to your Ordo.
→ The right panel will open with hymn suggestions and browsing options.
From the right panel, click All in the top-right corner.
→ You’ll see a language dropdown with English, Spanish, and Latin.
Select the language you would like to browse: English, Spanish, or Latin.
Choose your hymn.
Changing languages
When multiple languages are supported for a text, you can toggle between languages in the Ordo Editor. Here’s how to toggle between languages in your Ordo:
Create an Ordo or open an Ordo from your home dashboard.
→ The Ordo Editor will open automatically.
In each section supporting multiple languages, you’ll see a language dropdown in the top-right corner.
Click the dropdown arrow to open the menu, then select your preferred language: English, Spanish, Latin, or Greek (Greek is available for the Kyrie only).
→ The right panel will populate with music options in that language.
Select music and apply settings in the right panel.
Displaying music in two languages or with a translation
When a piece is available in multiple languages, you may wish to prepare a bilingual setting or include a text-only translation. Use the “add another” feature to make a piece of music appear in multiple languages.
Note
This feature is currently available for Mass Settings and Antiphons and is not yet supported for hymns.
From the Ordo Editor, select the piece of music you want to display bilingually or with a translation.
Note: The video above demonstrates a Latin musical setting with an English text-only translation.
Click the language dropdown arrow and choose your preferred language: English, Spanish, or Latin.
In the top right corner, click the “more options” menu
Select Add another (Entrance Chant, Sprinkling Rite, Sanctus, etc.)
→ The new section will appear in the default language (English). To choose a different language, repeat step 2 before continuing.
Review both sections to ensure the correct language combination is displayed.
Select music for one or both sections, as needed.
Reorder your sections (optional). Drag and drop the sections from your Outline to adjust the order.
