What is the Roles feature?
The Roles feature allows you to apply specific text and music display settings across your entire Ordo based on your recipient’s particular needs. Instead of adjusting individual sections, simply select a Role to prepare a customized view before sharing with others.
Available Roles
Choose the appropriate Role to apply a consistent view across your Ordo:
Editor - Full preparation view with your initial selections.
Cantor - Applies melody-only settings for all music.
Choir Member - Applies SATB settings for all music.
Accompanist - Applies SATB and/or chord settings for all music.
Congregation - Displays melody-only or text-only settings.
How to Access Roles
Customize your Ordo with music and text selections.
Choose a Role view in the top bar: Choir Member, Accompanist, or Congregation.
Tips and best practices
When creating multiple resources with different views (for example, for a choir, accompanists, or congregation), toggle between Roles and create separate Resources for each group.
When creating your Ordo, use Roles to apply changes across your entire Ordo rather than adjusting accompaniment settings on individual pieces.
