Sharing Ordos

After you create your Ordo, you can share it with team members to collaborate and prepare for the liturgy.

The Share feature is available on all Source & Summit plans.

Team and Role features are available on the following plans:

• Standard Plan

• Educational Plan

• Complete Digital Add-On

Prepare your Ordo

Before sending your Ordo, customize the music settings to provide tailored content for your recipients:

1. Create or open an Ordo.

2. Customize your Ordo with music and text selections.

3. Select a Role from the top bar:

   Editor - Full planning view

   Choir Member - SATB settings for all music

   Accompanist - SATB and/or chord settings for all music
   Congregation - Melody or text-only view

Don’t have the roles feature?

You can still customize your Ordo for your team members! Select each section and adjust settings in the right panel before sharing. You can also create a resource to share printed materials.

Ways to share your Ordo

There are three different ways to share your Ordo on Source & Summit. Select your goal to see the appropriate steps:

1. Generate an Ordo link

2. Share directly

3. Provide a digital worship aid for parishioners

Generate an Ordo link

Share your Ordo with an individual using a link.

If you have Basic, Essentials, or the Basic Digital Add-On plan, follow these steps to share your Ordo with others.

1. Create or open an Ordo.

2. Customize your Ordo with music and text selections.

3. Click Share from the bottom bar.

4. Select a recipient: Choir or Parish.

   Choir - Enables downloads and dynamic audio playback
   Parish - View-only access

5. Click Copy Link, then Done.

6. Paste the link in an email or message to your team member.

Share directly

Share your Ordo directly without leaving the Source & Summit Digital Platform.

1. Click Share from the bottom-right corner.

2. In the Add people and groups field, select your team member’s email or select a group name (see below for how to make a group).

3. Click Send.

   → All team members will receive a link to the Ordo via email.

Provide a digital worship aid for parishioners

1. Create or open an Ordo.

2. Customize the music and texts for the liturgy.

3. Select the Congregation Role in the top bar:

4. Click Share from the bottom bar.

5. Click Choir from the “Share with my” dropdown menu.

6. Select Parish.

   → An Ordo link will be generated below.  

7. Click Copy Link, then Done.

8. Paste your Ordo Link in an email or website to share with parishioners.

Tips and Best Practices

• Create a group to share Ordos with multiple people at once:

1. Log in to Source & Summit at app.sourceandsummit.com

2. Click Team in the left panel.

3. Click the Groups tab in the top bar.

4. Click + Add a Group in the top left of your screen.

5. Type your Group Name and click Next.

6. Add team members’ emails in the Add people bar (press Enter or Return after each).

   → Team members will appear under the Members list.  

7. Repeat step 6 until all your group members have been added.

• When you share an Ordo with a choir member or accompanist, the file will include dynamic audio playback. Here’s how they can access playback settings:

1. Open the shared Ordo email.

   → The subject line will be: “[Name] has shared an Ordo with you.”

2. Click View Ordo in the email.

   → Enter your name if prompted, and the Ordo will open.

3. Scroll through the Ordo. Sections with audio playback will have the play icon in the top-right corner.

4. Click the play icon   to listen.

   Customize playback (optional)

5. Click the music icon in the bottom bar.

   → Playback options will open, where you can adjust playback speed or isolate a choral part.
