Learn about different settings in the Resource Editor to modify your congregational booklet or music packet.

Document-wide changes

Go to the Document Menu to make changes that apply across your entire resource.

Accessing Document Settings

  1. Click Document from the left panel

  2. A sub panel will open on the left side of your screen, opening these settings:

  • Setting Margins - Adjust spacing around page edges

  • Content Size - Enlarge or reduce the size of text and music

  • Outline - Show or hide the liturgy overview on the first page

  • Page Numbers - Add or remove page numbers (bottom of the page)

  • Page Break before every section - Start each section on a new page

  • Vertical Spacing - Increase or decrease spacing in text and music files

  • Section Title Style - Set alignment and formatting for section titles

  • Text Source References - Show liturgical book references, for example: RM (Roman Missal), GR (Graduale Romanum), or L (Lectionary)

Need to make content changes?

Make significant changes, like music or text selections, directly in the Ordo Editor. From your resource, click the Source & Summit logo or back arrow in the top-left corner to return to your Ordo.

Editing individual sections

Use section settings to make changes to individual elements of your resource.

Make selections from your outline and edit them in the right panel in order to make changes to individual sections.

Accessing section settings

  1. Click the section name in the left panel.

  2. Use the right panel to customize layout options:

  • Page Break - Start on a new page or group with others

  • Vertical Spacing - Increase or decrease spacing in text and music files

  • Notation Style - Switch between modern notation and text-only view

  • Accompaniment - Add SATB harmonization to the score

  • Chord Symbols - Display chord symbols above the melody

Verse layout settings (where applicable)  

  • Verses - Choose whether you’d like to hide verses

  • Verse notation - Switch between pointed, notated, and text-only displays

  • Notate Verse Display - Modify the format of text-only verses
